It’s a piece of cake!
Hello! My name is Chad, and I am an amateur cook and baker. I find
solace in a kitchen by myself and like to cook for other people. I like to be
creative and let people try my work and see if they like it. I often ask myself
who doesn’t love a good, rich delicious cake for celebrations, or just for your
own indulgence! But who really knows what goes into making a cake? It’s actually
a piece of cake (pun intended.) You don’t need much; just flour, baking soda,
baking powder, coco powder, sugar, vegetable oil, hot water, milk, vanilla and
icing with decorations and imagination is all it takes to make a great cake. All
you have to do is mix the dry ingredients together, mix the wet together (minus
the icing and decorations,) combine the two, and mix it, and pour it into a greased
pan. Bake the batter in the middle of the oven at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 30
minutes. Once the cake is baked (I usually use a toothpick to see if it is
done, by sticking it in and making sure no wet batter is left inside.) After
the cake is baked, and cooled, you can ice it and add whatever decorations you
would like! Just make sure you make it your own style!
